Annalee Dunn offers writing tutoring and support for individuals and small groups. Her approach is simply to get students writing...and often! We work collaboratively at the level and place you are in your writing journey to offer gentle exercises, feedback, supportive structure and practice, and creative tips to meet your current goals. Annalee facilitates an environment of deep respect for the anxiety writing can bring for many people. Her experience as an educator for many years in the community, her years of work at Alger Learning Center with middle and high school students as a learning coach, homeschooling her own two children (who are reluctant writers as well) and her earned BA from Fairhaven College and MFA in Writing from Goddard College all lend to her range and scope of writing skills & support. Annalee's husband is a writing instructor at Western Washington University as well, and their days are spent equally on teaching and managing their hobby farm in Ferndale where Annalee offers creative workshops and classes in writing, creative arts, cooking, and more. She has a balanced approach of kindness, ease, and non-judgment, and makes writing relevant and manageable in a world where the craft of writing is evolving and changing so rapidly!
